The objectives of the Lyonswood Architectural Committee is to:

Enable residents to achieve their personal objectives with respect to their property in a manner that maintains the community's integrity and overall objectives.

Protect and preserve the quality of the environment while offering the greatest possible freedom in the use and alternation of one's property under provision of the following Guidelines.

Provide information to residents in planning improvements and alterations to their property.

Foster pride in the appearance of our community.

Guidelines for Exterior Alterations and Maintenance
When you consider making an exterior alteration to, or certain landscaping changes on, your property, you should first consult the guidelines contained within this document.
You should also review the Lyonswood Declaration of Covenants to insure that your planned project is in compliance.
Make yourself familiar with all relevant county and state regulations. Information can be obtained by calling the Baltimore County Department of Licensing and Permits at (410)887-3353.
After you have reviewed the guidelines, complete and submit your Architectural Review Form with all supporting documentation such as site and evaluation plans. One application must be submitted for each planned project. Be sure that your application is complete and clear and has all the required signatures.

Submit your application to our Architectural Committee via this website. Your application will be reviewed at the next Architectural Review Committee meeting and you will be promptly notified of the committee's decision.
